fic: I’ve lived in this place and I know all the faces

I’ve lived in this place and I know all the faces, PG-13

Summary: The only one left, Dean as an old man is haunted every Halloween by those he’s lost.
Disclaimer: Don't own the boys or the show. The end.
Notes: Written for the spn_halloweenchallenge #159.  Implied character deaths.  I took some liberties with the prompt - the events take place during various times in Dean’s life; he’s not an old man throughout the entire thing. Story title is from Rascal Flatt’s “Moving On.”

So I waited until the last episode to recap but hey, I'm a busy girl.

Anyway, you know the deal.  Spoilers and whatnot (my mindless ramblings) ahead.

(Recapping always looks like so much fun; I couldn't resist)

fic: Every Mile Is Two

Every Mile Is Two, PG-13

Warnings: Implied character deaths.

Notes: Written for portofcall for the SPN Gen Brothers Ficathon.  The prompt I chose was - Situation 2: Dean and Sam are temporarily separated and miss each other. Or, if you want to be evil, they don't miss each other, but it has to be believable and include an explanation.
Disclaimer: Don't own the boys or the show.  The end.

My dad was watching Supernatural with me the other night (he and I were big X-Files fans so I tried to convince him that this was similar).

I was explaining a little bit of the background to him because it can be confusing picking up on show quite a few episodes in.

So I telling him that Sam and Dean were brothers and I told him Dean was the oldest.

And he was like "Which one is Dean?"

So I pointed him out and my dad was like "Oh, he's the short one."

I find it quite amusing.

Got Alexander for Christmas from my coolest friends EVAH.

And I watched it last night, but I must have been sooooo out of it when I saw it in the theaters last November because I don't remember Colin and Jared being all OBVIOUS like they were. I knew they were pretty much in love with each other, but I thought it was more hush hush than it actually is in the movie.

Oh well. It was cute, regardless. And I felt bad for Jared's character. He was so angsty.

And is the part in the beginning with Angelina and little Alexander supposed to be endearing?! hahahaha.

She's like wrapping snakes around her child's neck and giving all these withering looks and you just know she's planning something.

I finally saw the Pilot episode of Supernatural last night. I meant to tape it - even had my VCR set up because I didn't think I was going to be home. Turns out I was home when it came on and supidly turned off the VCR timer and forgot to start taping it when it actually came on. Grrrr.

Anyway. I'd never seen it before and it was interesting to watch it after I'd seen all the other episodes.

Dean seems to act...somewhat out of character. Well, considering what his character acts like in the later episodes, he just acts very different in the first ep. It was like Jensen was still tyring to pin Dean and his actions down or something.

And I had to giggle during the scene where Dean breaks into Sam's apartment and they fight. I found it rather amusing.

*sigh* I'm excited about Dead in the Water tonight, even though I've already seen it plenty of times and it's not one of my favorites. It's Sam and Dean. lol.

ANY Supernatural is good when there haven't been any new episodes for a MONTH. Man.

I don't think I've even been so attached to a show that when they do these little breaks during the season I've been so ANXIOUS for it to start back up again. I've usually just dealt with the hiatus pretty well.

You can't just give us Jensen and Jarad and then snatch them away for a month!!

Especially not with that awful cliffhanger from Asylum.

And by awful I don't mean "badly done" I mean CRUEL.

Title: Heart and Soul

Rating: PG

Summary: “Sam can’t start without Dean, not really.  It started with Dean and it will end with Dean.  A more abstract reason as to why the Winchester boys need one another.

Disclaimer: Don't own the boys or the show.  The end.

Notes: Inspired by the piano duet.

Title: The Fascination of the Abomination
Rating: PG
Summary: “The fascination of the abomination – you know, imagine the growing regrets, the longing to escape, the powerless disgust, the surrender, the hate.”
Spoilers: Yes, especially for Asylum.
Disclaimer: Don't own the boys or the show. The end.
Notes: Written rather quickly because I had to get it out. And I couldn’t avoid how well (I thought) the quote seemed to fit Sam.

Title: For the Best
Rating: PG
Disclaimer: Not mine. Just borrowing. Will try to return in one (emotional) piece...maybe. Heh.
Summary: Gawain learns to let Galahad grow up.
Notes: Vignette and musing on the Galahad/Gawain relationship. Takes place a good while before the movie. Not sure if I can really see Gawain acting like this, but the idea came to me and wouldn't leave me alone. We all know how that is...
